Welcome back to the 1st Annual TeleFilmiest Awards. Click here for the first group of winners. I now present the winners for the final twelve categories:

The nominees for Best Comedy Ensemble are:

The cast of 30 Rock

The cast of Arrested Development
Will Arnett, Jason Bateman, Michael Cera, David Cross, Portia de Rossi, Tony Hale, Ron Howard, Alia Shawkat, Jeffrey Tambor and Jessica Walter

The cast of Girls
Adam Driver, Lena Dunham, Alex Karpovsky, Jemima Kirke, Zosia Mamet and Allison Williams

The cast of New Girl
Zooey Deschanel, Max Greenfield, Jake Johnson, Lamorne Morris and Hannah Simone

The cast of Parks and Recreation
Aziz Ansari, Rashida Jones, Jim O'Heir, Nick Offerman, Aubrey Plaza, Amy Poehler, Chris Pratt, Retta and Adam Scott

The cast of Veep
Sufe Bradshaw, Anna Chlumsky, Tony Hale, Julia Louis-Dreyfus, Reid Scott, Timothy Simons and Matt Walsh

And the award goes to...

THE CAST OF ARRESTED DEVELOPMENT

In my personal opinion, there hasn't been a single comedy ensemble in modern television history as strong as Arrested Development's. Though the fourth season may not have been as strong as the show's first three, the cast undoubtedly brought their A-game to every episode and performed as if the seven-year gap between seasons never happened. I singled out Jessica Walter as the MVP in my review, but the whole cast really does deserves recognition.

The nominees for Best Supporting Actor in a Comedy Series are:

Aziz Ansari as Tom Haverford in Parks and Recreation
Will Arnett as Gob Bluth in Arrested Development
Max Greenfield as Schmidt in New Girl
Bill Hader as various characters in Saturday Night Live
Tony Hale as Buster Bluth in Arrested Development
Nick Offerman as Ron Swanson in Parks and Recreation

And the award goes to...

BILL HADER as VARIOUS CHARACTERS in SATURDAY NIGHT LIVE

Hader's presence on SNL made the show watchable even in its weakest written episodes. His role as Stefon, the gay NYC nightclub expert who was also hopelessly in love with Seth Meyers, was one of the most enduring characters the show has created in a long time. Up to his last episode in May, Hader was able to be the straight man in many sketches and the eccentric oddball in others. His presence will be missed next season.

The nominees for Best Supporting Actress in a Comedy Series are:

Portia de Rossi as Lindsay Bluth Funke in Arrested Development
Jane Krakowski as Jenna Maroney in 30 Rock
Kate McKinnon as various characters in Saturday Night Live
Aubrey Plaza as April Ludgate in Parks and Recreation
Cecily Strong as various characters in Saturday Night Live
Jessica Walter as Lucille Bluth in Arrested Development

And the award goes to...

JESSICA WALTER as LUCILLE BLUTH in ARRESTED DEVELOPMENT

As I mentioned earlier, season 4 of Arrested Development was flawed. The cast was essentially split up into their own character episodes, but Walter somehow became the highlight of each one.  Walter had a great character arc over the course of the season, turning from the standard boozy sitcom mother into a flawed individual coming to terms with her own horrible behavior. It's a shame she wasn't nominated for an Emmy this year.

The nominees for Best Drama Ensemble are:

The cast of Breaking Bad
Jonathan Banks, Betsy Brandt, Bryan Cranston, Anna Gunn, RJ Mitte, Dean Norris, Bob Odenkirk and Aaron Paul

The cast of Game of Thrones
Alfie Allen, John Bradley, Oona Chaplin, Emilia Clarke, James Cosmo, Nikolaj Coster-Waldau, Liam Cunningham, Charles Dance, Joe Dempsie, Stephen Dillane, Peter Dinklage, Natalie Dormer, Michelle Fairley, Jerome Flynn, Aidan Gillen, Jack Gleeson, Iain Glen, Kit Harington, Lena Headey, Isaac Hempstead-Wright, Conleth Hill, Sibel Kekilli, Rose Leslie, Richard Madden, Rory McCrann, Sophie Turner, Carice van Houton and Maisie Williams

The cast of Homeland
Morena Baccarin, Claire Danes, David Harewood, Diego Klattenhoff, Damian Lewis, David Marciano, Navid Negahban, Jackson Pace, Mandy Patinkin, Morgan Saylor and Jamey Sheridan

The cast of House of Cards
Sebastain Arcelus, Kristen Connelly, Sakina Jaffrey, Michael Kelly, Kate Mara, Kevin Spacey, Corey Stoll, Robin Wright and Constance Zimmer

The cast of Mad Men
Ben Feldman, Jay R. Ferguson, Jon Hamm, Christina Hendricks, January Jones, Vincent Kartheiser, Robert Morse, Elisabeth Moss, Jessica Pare, Kevin Rahm, Kiernan Shipka, John Slattery, Rich Sommer, Christopher Stanley, Aaron Staton and Mason Vale Cotton

The cast of The Newsroom
Jeff Daniels, John Gallagher, Jr., Emily Mortimer, Olivia Munn, Dev Patel, Alison Pill, Thomas Sadoski and Sam Waterston

And the award goes to...

THE CAST OF GAME OF THRONES

Purely on the basis of the show's massive, talented cast, the Game of Thrones ensemble absolutely deserves this award. Though not every storyline is the most interesting, the show's performers are all very committed to their roles and fit in naturally with the medieval world. Though they are spread out very far around Westeros and across the Narrow Sea, they all still feel like they're in the same world, which is a remarkable feat.

The nominees for Best Supporting Actor in a Drama Series are:

Jonathan Banks as Mike Ehrmantraut in Breaking Bad
Nikolaj Coster-Waldau as Jaime Lannister in Game of Thrones
Charles Dance as Tywin Lannister in Game of Thrones
Aaron Paul as Jesse Pinkman in Breaking Bad
Kevin Rahm as Ted Chaough in Mad Men
Corey Stoll as U.S. Rep. Peter Russo in House of Cards

And the award goes to...

COREY STOLL as U.S. REP. PETER RUSSO in HOUSE OF CARDS

Hands down the best part about House of Cards flawed first season, Stoll shined as the idealistic former drug addict trying to turn his life around in politics. He did not have much impact in the first few episodes but as the show reached the finale, his character's arc had become one of the most tragic stories on television and Stoll fearlessly portrayed a man who tried to have it all and watched his whole life crumble before him. Truly powerful stuff.

The nominees for Best Supporting Actress in a Drama Series are:

Emilia Clarke as Daenerys Targaryen in Game of Thrones
Michelle Fairley as Catelyn Stark in Game of Thrones
Anna Gunn as Skyler White in Breaking Bad
Lena Headey as Cersei Lannister in Game of Thrones
Hayden Panettiere as Juliette Barnes in Nashville
Kiernan Shipka as Sally Draper in Mad Men

And the award goes to...

ANNA GUNN as SKYLER WHITE in BREAKING BAD

As soon as I saw the Breaking Bad episode "Fifty-One", I knew Gunn would have my vote for best supporting actress of the season. It was the episode when Skyler finally reached her breaking point after putting up with so much of Walt's shit for so long. The pool scene alone would be enough for me to recognize her greatness but the final argument with Walt when she tells him she's waiting for the cancer to come back was one of the most chilling arguments I've ever seen on television.

The nominees for Best Lead Actress in a Comedy Series are:

Carrie Brownstein as various characters in Portlandia
Zooey Deschanel as Jess Day in New Girl
Lena Dunham as Hannah Horvath in Girls
Tina Fey as Liz Lemon in 30 Rock
Julia Louis-Dreyfus as Vice President Selina Meyer in Veep
Amy Poehler as Leslie Knope in Parks and Recreation

And the award goes to...

JULIA LOUIS-DREYFUS as VICE PRESIDENT SELINA MEYER in VEEP

Simply put, JLD is a television comedy legend. She has become a household name through her role as Elaine Benes in Seinfeld, but her role as the tough but clueless vice president in Veep may just be her best role ever. Dreyfus manages to kill it in every single episode through razor-sharp comedic timing and a willingness to completely embarrass herself for a laugh. It's no wonder she's one of the most nominated performers in Emmy history.

The nominees for Best Lead Actor in a Comedy Series are:

Fred Armisen as various characters in Portlandia
Alec Baldwin as Jack Donaghy in 30 Rock
Jason Bateman as Michael Bluth in Arrested Development
Louis C.K. as Louie in Louie
Jake Johnson as Nick Miller in New Girl
Adam Scott as Ben Wyatt in Parks and Recreation

And the award goes to...

JAKE JOHNSON as NICK MILLER in NEW GIRL

Johnson absolutely blew me away with his performance in New Girl's second season. He managed to accurately capture the quarterlife crisis malaise felt by so many twentysomethings going on 30 while still maintaining the funny through every episode. His relationship with Jess this season was one of the best romantic-based storylines on a sitcom since Friends in its heyday, and I have to give so much credit to Johnson for convincingly turning a lazy schlub into a leading man.

The nominees for Best Lead Actress in a Drama Series are:

Connie Britton as Rayna James in Nashville
Claire Danes as Carrie Mathison in Homeland
Vera Farmiga as Norma Bates in Bates Motel
Tatiana Maslany as various characters in Orphan Black
Elisabeth Moss as Peggy Olson in Mad Men
Keri Russell as Elizabeth Jennings in The Americans

And the award goes to...

TATIANA MASLANY as VARIOUS CHARACTERS in ORPHAN BLACK

I'm not sure where Maslany came from but my god is she someone to watch out for. Playing five of the show's main characters, the actress managed to infuse each clone with their own distinct personality and mannerisms in such a way that they genuinely seemed like different people. From the pure level of difficulty of this performance, I would call her the best actor, male or female, of the 2012-2013 season and I would highly recommend watching Orphan Black for her performance if you haven't already. A genuine discovery.

The nominees for Best Lead Actor in a Drama Series are:

Bryan Cranston as Walter White in Breaking Bad
Jeff Daniels as Will McAvoy in The Newsroom
Jon Hamm as Don Draper in Mad Men
Damian Lewis as Nicholas Brody in Homeland
Matthew Rhys as Phillip Jennings in The Americans
Kevin Spacey as U.S. Rep. Francis Underwood in House of Cards

And the award goes to...

JON HAMM as DON DRAPER in MAD MEN

Don Draper frustrated the hell out of me this season, I'll admit it. It often felt like he was spinning his wheels, not learning from his mistakes and just becoming a worse human being with each episode. And that's what made Hamm's performance so brilliant this year. His ability to make Don into a complete out-of-date buffoon while still remaining somewhat redeemable was a true masterclass in acting. The season finale more than proves why he has given one of the best lead performances in any drama series that's ever been on television.

Finally, we've reached the final two categories of the evening. Here we go:

The nominees for Best Comedy Series are:

30 Rock

Arrested Development

Girls

Louie

New Girl

Parks and Recreation

And the award for Best Comedy Series goes to...

NEW GIRL

A truly successful comedy has to do more than just make you laugh. It should make you care about the characters and their lives, even when they make mistakes. It shouldn't be afraid to go for emotional moments. That's what made New Girl season 2 the best comedy on television for the 2012-2013 season. The show really figured how what it wanted to be in season 2, essentially turning The Zooey Deschanel Show into one of the best ensemble comedies on television. The upgrade of Jake Johnson to leading status was one the best moves for the show going forward and proved that true, compelling romance was not dead in sitcoms through his storylines with Deschanel. Though Max Greenfield was put on the back-burner in comparison to Deschanel and Johnson, he remained the best scene-stealer on television through his various romances and schemes. They even gave Winston some good storylines this year, which was almost a running joke itself in its first season regarding his complete lack of presence on the show. Overall, no other comedy swept me in and made me feel like I was hanging out with friends as much as New Girl.

Let's get to the final category.

The nominees for Best Drama Series are:

The Americans

Breaking Bad

Game of Thrones

Homeland

Mad Men

Orphan Black

And the award for Best Drama Series goes to...

GAME OF THRONES

Very few shows feel like event television anymore, but in its third season, Game of Thrones became appointment television for me. On a purely aesthetic basis there's nothing else like Game of Thrones on TV, in terms of its vast landscapes, its costumes and its incredible cinematography. The show managed to really step it up this season with its ability to juggle up to seven different locations per episode and dozens upon dozens of characters while still giving each character their due. Since season 3 is an adaptation of the first half of the third novel from the book series, it does not feel wholly complete, but the amount of tension that rises over the course of the season is incredible. There are so many moments from this season that I still can't get out of my mind, including Jaime losing his hand in episode 3, Daenerys freeing the people of Astapor in episode 4, the wonderfully awkward wedding of Tyrion and Sansa and, last but not least, the absolutely savage Red Wedding in episode 9. As someone who usually doesn't go for fantasy shows or movies, the fact that I'm naming this my favorite drama of the year is definitely saying something. I can't wait to see where the show goes in season 4.
